Meet our Newest Staff Member: Rawan Haddad

Tent Schools International welcomes Rawan Haddad as Development Director

Rawan Haddad

Tent Schools International (TSI) is thrilled to welcome Rawan Haddad as our newest staff member! Rawan will serve in the role of Development Director for TSI.

Rawan, her husband Salah, and their two boys are from Jordan, where the family spent four years working with Syrian refugees for Global Hope Network International, raising all of their support funding during that time. Previously, she taught Arabic as a second language with CGE Jordan Arabic Studies, filled the role of pastor’s wife leading children and adults within her church, and studied at the YWCA in Amman, Jordan.

As part of her development role, Rawan will maintain positive relationships with TSI supporters and grow our base, primarily through events and speaking engagements that communicate the importance of our mission of education for displaced children and their families. She will also help form new TSI partnerships, particularly in the Middle East and Asia, to expand our programs and services in those regions of the world.

Rawan’s family recently relocated to Grand Rapids, Michigan from their initial U.S. location in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Welcome to TSI, Rawan!
