FULL-TIME BOOKKEEPER POSITION OPENING
Growing and established Grand Rapids-based non-profit organization is looking for a full-time bookkeeper.
Duties
Maintain accurate financial records and donation tracking
Send donation receipts and “thank you” notes to donors
Create weekly donation reports for internal staff use
Prepare bank deposits and post cash receipts
Code vendor invoices and input into accounting software
Maintain company credit card and fuel card records and matching receipts
Assist Accounting personnel with other projects on request
Qualifications
Knowledge of and proficiency using Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
Bookkeeping experience with corporate or non-profit organization
Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks preferred
Ability to work with and maintain information in a highly confidential manner
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Good phone and written communication skills
