Position: part time, 15 hours/week
The Database Manager (also known as Donor Services) for Tent Schools International will have an innate love of data and its management. The right candidate will maintain accurate and detailed records of donors to the organization, lead data entry, proper maintenance and receipting of donors, and formulate mail and email lists as requested by staff. This individual will develop database queries and provide accurate reporting on a weekly basis to TSI’s Development Team, including close monitoring of the organization’s monthly giving program.
Skills Required: in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, minimum of two years of experience in database management, ability to learn an online database program, efficient data entry skills, receipting skills, organization, customer service skills, reporting skills, managing processes, attention to detail, analyzing information, professionalism, problem solving, supply management, inventory control, verbal communication, process management, ability to read, write and speak excellent English, ability to assist donors via telephone, ability to maximize database usefulness to staff by understanding Development Team strategy and maintaining database accordingly

Position: part time, up to 20 hours/week
The Communications Director for Tent Schools International will manage both print and digital communications for the organization. The right candidate will create and coordinate print and e-mail campaigns, manage our website and social media, participate on TSI’s Development Team to weigh in on fundraising strategies and progress, and work with printing/mailing companies to ensure quality, efficiency and affordability of mailings.
Skills Required: minimum of two years of experience in the field of communications, journalism or copy writing, excellent written communication skills, organizational skills, copy editing skills, detail-orientation, basic design and lay-out skills, process management, problem-solving abilities
